ALL SENIORS: Please turn in a senior picture to the office for the “Composit” in the commons. Make it a head shot if at all possible – or as close of a picture as possible. We must have them by the middle of February.

A reminder to all seniors: Would all seniors please hand in a baby picture, a senior picture and a friend’s picture (optional) to Michaela Arens or Rebecca Mueller by January 31 for the Senior Slide Show.

NENAC BASKETBALL TOURNAMENTS – MONDAY, JANUARY 31st – FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 4TH: Crofton girls will play Randolph today at 6:15 p.m. in Neligh. Players’ bus will leave at 4:05 p.m. Crofton boys will play Elkhorn Valley Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in Tilden. Dismiss the team members at 2:05 p.m.

Cheerleaders will leave today - January 31st at 4:15 p.m. from the school. Tuesday the Cheerleaders will be dismissed at 2:30 p.m.

JH girls’ and boys’ basketball games will be played today at 1 p.m. in Bloomfield – bus will leave at 12:15 p.m.

WEDNESDAY:

Casual Pictures will be taken Wednesday – Elementary at 8:30a.m. and at 11:30 a.m. at the high school.

THURSDAY:

There will be a wrestling meet here Thursday at 6:30 p.m. with Norfolk. This will be “Parent’s Night” for wrestling.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 5TH:

The Wausa Speech Meet will be at 8 a.m. Saturday, February 5th.
There will be a 9th girls’ and boys’ basketball games in Randolph Saturday, February 5th at 8:30 a.m.

There will be a JH/JV wrestling meet in Bon Homme at 9 a.m. Saturday, February 5th.

The Warrior Ball will be held Saturday, February 5th from 9 p.m. – 12 midnight. Cost will be $3.00.

STAFF:

We are in need of two ticket takers as a result of the change in the basketball schedule. The Pender boys’ game will be here on Saturday, February 12th. If you are interested please contact Gary.

LUNCH NEWS: If you wish an extra piece of pizza on Friday you will need to prepay $1.35 on Friday morning at the office window. This will be the only way you will receive an extra piece of pizza.

ATTENTION:
Due to Accident Insurance Liability concerns, St. Rose Parish is requesting that anyone using the St. Rose parking lot should park only on the cement area and use only the West driveway to enter and leave the parking lot. For the safety of the students, parents are asked to escort the students to and from their vehicle. When a PE class is in progress and the barriers are in place, you are asked to honor the reason for those barriers and not drive around them.

SENIORS: Board of Trustee’s Scholarship needs to be turned in to Mr. Sandvig for Wayne State, Chadron, and Peru State. Scholarship applications to UNK, UNL, UNO must be post marked by Jan 15. This requires application to be done by this time!!

There will be JV and varsity girls’ and boys’ basketball games Thursday starting at 4:30 p.m. in Battle Creek. JV Girl’s game will be at the old gym and the Boy’s JV will be at the new gym. Varsity Girl’s and Varsity Boy’s will be at the new gym starting at 6:15.

The JV Bus will leave at 2:45 today and the Varsity Bus will leave at 4:45 PM.

There will be a Post Prom Soup Supper at Battle Creek on Thursday serving from 5-9. Menu: Chili Soup, Sandwiches, and Bars.

There will be JH girls’ and boys’ basketball games here at 1 p.m. Thursday with Bloomfield. Dismiss the JH basketball players at 12:30.
