ACT Deadline: Students wishing to take the February ACT must register by Jan. 4th. See Mr. Sandvig for application.

Seniors need to give Bethany Kleinschmit a picture for the yearbook by December 21st. Pictures for the composite can be turned in to the office. Pictures should be vertical.

Any Junior or Senior interested in doing a job shadowing experience in a health related career field should see Mr. Sandvig. Northern Nebraska Area Health Education Center of Norfolk is doing two experiences this Spring. 1st opportunity: January 29 - you must have completed your application process by January 18. 2nd opportunity: March 4 - deadline is February 22. See Mr. Sandvig for more information.

Congratulations to all of the FFA members who competed in the District Leadership Skills Events Contest in Bloomfield on Wednesday, December 5. The results are as follows: Qualifying for state were Megan Schiferl in Job Interview, Sara Kohles in Cooperative Speaking, and Karen Koch in Creed Speaking. Molly Zavadil earned state alternate honors in Creed Speaking. The Jr. Parliamentary Procedure team of Mollie Wilken, Amy Krepel, Dacey Braunsroth, A.J. Petersen, Preston Mueller, Travis Poppe, and Austin Mann was the alternate to state. The Jr. Parli Pro team of Emma Tramp, Deryk Wortmann, Alyssa Pavlik, Kelsea Siebrandt, Cassie Tramp, Nicole Guenther, and Raychel Schurman earned a blue for 5th place. The Sr. Parliamentary Procedure team of Megan Schiferl, Morgan Wilken, Maddy Larson, John Schieffer, Nick Kleinschmit, and Dustin Kathol earned a blue for 4th place. Elizabeth Kube and Katie Mueller earned 1st and 3rd place, respectively, in Junior High Discovery Speaking. Lindsey Kuehler was alternate to state in Natural Resources Speaking. Placing 4th also in Natural Resources Speaking was Courtney Foxhoven. Earning red ribbons were Angela Kaiser and Jordan Braunsroth in JH Discovery Speaking, Amy Krepel in Jr. Public Speaking, John Schieffer in Job Interview. The JH Quiz Bowl team consisting of Travis Allvin, Taylor Schmidt, and Wesdon Wortmann earned 3rd place. Great job everyone!

The FFA holiday party, which was scheduled for this Saturday, has been postponed until further notice due to the weather.

ATTENTION:
Junior High Band – Group band will be on Wednesday & Thursday this week. Normal lesson times.

Seniors need to give Bethany Kleinschmit a picture for the yearbook by December 21st. Pictures for the composite can be turned in to the office. Pictures should be vertical.


Volleyball Girls who need to turn in uniforms: Jenna Guenther, and Jordan Sanger. Turn in ASAP.
