FCCLA Christmas Tree Project!
The FCCLA Chapter is sponsoring a collection drive for the Bright Horizons organization which serves all of Knox Co. and northeast Nebraska. They provide shelter and assistance to families where domestic violence has occurred.
Each Home Room is encouraged to put up a Christmas tree in their classroom. Boxes will be given to each participating home room where collections can be placed. Each home room has been given a list of items needed by Bright Horizons. The Home Room with the most collections will be given a Christmas party during home room on Dec. 20th.
On Dec. 16th all participating home rooms will move their trees to the Commons where the public can view the trees and donate to their favorite tree. The tree with the most donations that night will receive treats in their home room on Dec. 20th.
Thanks to all for your participations!!
The "2nd Annual Penny War" to raise funds for the Legion Riders has begun.
Class jars are located in the following rooms: Mr. Vollmer - 7th Grade Mrs. Nissen - 8th Grade
Mr. Hofer – Freshmen Mrs. Bruning - Sophomores
Mrs. Pier – Juniors Mrs. Anderson – Seniors
Pennies earn a class points and larger denominations cost them points according to their value. A good strategy would be to place pennies in your own class jar and larger donations in other classes' jars. The class with the most POINTS will receive a prize.

Students volunteering to help package meals on Thursday, December 22 need to turn in their parent permission slip ASAP. The bus will leave at 1:00 pm that day.
FCCLA Christmas Tree Project!
The FCCLA Chapter is sponsoring a collection drive for the Bright Horizons organization which serves all of Knox Co. and northeast Nebraska. They provide shelter and assistance to families where domestic violence has occurred.
Each Home Room is encouraged to put up a Christmas tree in their classroom. Boxes will be given to each participating home room where collections can be placed. Each home room has been given a list of items needed by Bright Horizons. The Home Room with the most collections will be given a Christmas party during home room on Dec. 20th.
On Dec. 16th all participating home rooms will move their trees to the Commons where the public can view the trees and donate to their favorite tree. The tree with the most donations that night will receive treats in their home room on Dec. 20th.

The FCCLA Chapter is sponsoring a collection drive for the Bright Horizons organization which serves all of Knox Co. and northeast Nebraska. They provide shelter and assistance to families where domestic violence has occurred.
Each Home Room is encouraged to put up a Christmas tree in their classroom. Boxes will be given to each participating home room where collections can be placed. Each home room has been given a list of items needed by Bright Horizons. The Home Room with the most collections will be given a Christmas party during home room on Dec. 20th.
On Dec. 16th all participating home rooms will move their trees to the Commons where the public can view the trees and donate to their favorite tree. The tree with the most donations that night will receive treats in their home room on Dec. 20th.

Congratulations to the Crofton One-Act Team for receiving Runner-Up in Districts yesterday.
Of a possible 180 points, first place received 177 points, Crofton received 177 points,
third received 162, etc., so Crofton was very close to the first place team.
Receiving Honorable Mention for their acting were
Heidi Steffen, Wesdon Wortmann, Hannah Eskins, Brayton Hagge, and Dani Riesberg.
The "2nd Annual Penny War" to raise funds for the Legion Riders has begun.
