Mr. Sandvig has received the James M. Cox Scholarship open to seniors – especially those showing financial need.
Iowa Test of Basic Skills will be given Wednesday, April 6th in the morning and Thursday, April 7th in the afternoon. This is for students in grades 7, 8, and 11. You will need to have two #2 pencils for the test.
The following JH students will be leaving CHS at 5:30 a.m. and will be gone all day Friday to attend the State FFA Convention: Danielle Kleinschmit, Justine Kube, Jason Loecker, Austin Mann, A.J. Peterson, Matt Schroeder, Jysse Sleister, Alex Wiebold, Mollie Wilken, and Patty Zuhlke.
Attention seniors: If you have not turned in your baby photo and senior photo for the graduation slide show – please do so A.S.A.P. to Michaela or Trina.

Junior High Band Members Accepted Posted on Monday, March 14
3 Crofton 8th grade students were selected by taped audition to participate in the annual Junior High Honor Band to be held in Pierce on Saturday, Apr. 2nd.
195 students from 20 schools tried out, 120 were accepted. The group will practice 3-4 selections during the day and perform a concert open to the public at 4:30 p.m. (tentatively) in the Pierce High School gym.
Students that were accepted are: Breanna Chase, flute, daughter of Mike and Veda Chase; Alison Hoebelheinrich, alto sax, daughter of Arlan and Angie Hoebelheinrich, and Jesse Augustin, tuba, son of Jay and Kiyvon Augustin.

Lady Warriors will be playing Lincoln Christian at Pershing – starting time is 1:30 p.m. Players will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday - you will eat at that time.
Band bus will leave at 8 a.m. Thursday from the school.
Anyone wishing to ride a booster bus to Lincoln Thursday/Friday/Saturday may sign up in the office by 12:41 p.m. Wednesday. The cost to ride the booster bus will be $12.00 each day. We must have at least 20 students sign up each day – and pay when you sign up and get a bus pass. Bus will leave from the high school Thursday at 8 a.m. – Friday at 6:30 a.m. – Saturday at 2 p.m.
ACT registration for the April testing is due Friday, March 4th.
District Ag will be held today at Northeast Community College. Contestants will be leaving from the high school at 7 a.m. All members are to be in official dress and should bring money for lunch. CHS Band Members Accepted to All-State Posted on Tuesday, March 1
9 members of the CHS band have been accepted by taped audition to participate in the Class 'C' All-State Band, to be held at UN-Kearney on Saturday, March 19th.
There will be 3 performing groups: Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Band.
Jared Uhing, son of Stan and Mary Jane Uhing, trombone, was accepted to the Wind Ensemble, the only Crofton student accepted to the "elete" concert band.
Members of the Symphonic Band are:

Mr. Hoffman has football highlight tapes for sale of the 2004 season – cost is $15.00.
All students going out for a spring sport must have a physical on file before the start of practice which will be Tuesday March 1st for all boys and those girls not out for varsity basketball. Practice will be from 4:00 – 5:45 p.m. Any questions contact Coach Timm.
