Students may pick up their Year Books over Homeroom’s and lunch today in the Conference Room.
Students that need to pay there Art Bills: Chase Conn, Tyler Steffen, Matt Schroeder, Alex Fillips, Jon Mech, and Sean Zimmerman, Please pay these immediately.
Any seniors interested in attending the UN Medical Center Health Fair Tuesday, September 21st should see Mr. Sandvig right away.
ACT registration is due by September 17th for the October 23rd testing. See Mr. Sandvig for registration packets.
There will be a Close-Up meeting today at 11:45 in Mr. Timm’s room.
There will be an FFA meeting today, August 31st at 7:30 p.m. in the commons. New or perspective members are invited and encouraged to attend.

Flag Team practice will be Wednesday, September 1st at 7:45 a.m. in the gym. Those students who are interested should sign up in the office before hand.
Class meetings will be held during homerooms Wednesday – room assignments for meeting will be in the announcements Monday.
There will be an assembly for grades 7 – 12 Wednesday during 1st block in the gym. Report to your 1st class so attendance may be taken.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2ND:
There will be a cross-country meet Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in Wisner. Dismiss the runners at 2:10 p.m.
There will be volleyball games Thursday in Neligh – starting time is 5:30 p.m.
Anyone interested in riding a Booster Bus should sign up in the office. Cost will be announced later.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3RD:
There will be a Tailgate Super @ Battle Creek starting at 5:30. There will be Hamburgers, chips and a drink for three dollars
School pictures will be taken Friday, September 3rd. All students will have their picture taken – these are for the Yearbook.
There will be a varsity football game Friday, September 3rd at 7 p.m. in Battle Creek.

The team will also be raffling off tickets for a chance to win a steak dinner for 4 in the press box during the Boone Central football game. Ticket prices are 1 for $1.00 or 6 for $5.00. Also, the Lady Warrior Volleyball scrimmage will be today at 5 p.m. – admission will be Gatorade.

GOLF RESULTS:
Crofton tied for 2nd at the Rocky County Golf Invitational with a score of 409. This is a new school record – the old one was 413. Medalists were Dana Merkel – 94 – 5th and Sarah Leader – 102 – 14th. Other scores were Jill Wiebelhaus – 104, Bree Evans – 109, and Cassy Zavadil 136.

There will be a girls’ golf meet today at Bassett – the following will be dismissed all day: Bree Evans, Sarah Leader, Sara Kuehler, Dana Merkel, Jill Wiebelhaus, and Cassy Zavadil.
There will be a meeting today during 1st homeroom for any students in grades 9 – 12 who are interested in joining the new POWER DRIVE CLUB. Please meet in Mr. Sanger’s room – 174 (shop). All those attending the meeting will eat in the 2nd lunch line.

Attention all students: The office will sell seconds for extra entrees at lunch from 8:00 – 8:30 a.m. Cost for an extra lunch entrée is $1.35. When signing up put name – entrée choice and what lunch line you eat in. You will then receive a seconds ticket to be redeemed in the lunch line.
