There will be a varsity football game Friday, October 1st at 7 p.m. in O’Neill. Dismiss the team members at 3:20 p.m. and the players’ bus will leave at 4 p.m. Anyone wishing to ride a Booster Bus to O’Neill should sign up in the office by 1 p.m. Friday – cost will be $10.00 and leave from the school at 5:30 p.m.

SATURDAY:

Saturday, October 2nd at 3 p.m. the FCCLA Homecoming window painting committee will meet at Uptown Styles to paint windows for Homecoming. Band Field Show Following Homecoming Parade Posted on Tuesday, September 28
The CHS Band and Flag team will perform their field show immediately following the 2 p.m. Homecoming Parade. The pep rally will follow the field show.

Since they are performing their show in the afternoon, they will only play in the stands at the game.

The Music Boosters will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 20 in the music room to discuss plans for the Conference Instrumental Clinic on Sat. November 6, here.

Much help will be needed, as we plan to provide lunch and concessions, as well as general help throughout the day. Student help will be needed also. THIS INCLUDES PARENTS OF JR. HIGH STUDENTS, as well as any other interested people.

THOUGHT FOR TODAY: It’s easy to be an angel when nobody ruffles your feathers.

Flag team members are Becca Mueller and Sam Kube – Captains, Annette Merchen – Co-Captain, Bree Evans, Ali Mueller, Katrina Uhing, Michaela Arens, Jenny Stenzel, Danielle Murphy, and Justin Tramp. Practice will be at 7:45 a.m. every Wednesday in the gym.

FFA Members – don’t forget to stop by Mrs. Mann’s room to sign up for District Dairy Judging, the December leadership skills contest (speaking events, parli pro, ag demo, etc.), and paper recycling. Dues are $20.00 to be paid to Jessica Thunker before September 15th.

Students that need to pay there Art Bills: Chase Conn, Tyler Steffen, Matt Schroeder, Alex Fillips, Jon Mech, and Sean Zimmerman, Please pay these immediately.

Any student interested in the U.S. Senate Youth Program (Hearst Foundation) Scholarship should see Mr. Sandvig soon. Applications for the scholarship trip to Washington D.C. needs to be completed by October 12th.

Anyone interested in riding a Booster Bus should sign up by 12:41 p.m. Friday in the office – bus will leave from the school at 5 p.m. Cost will be $6.00.
