Congratulations to the FFA members who competed in the District Dairy CDE yesterday in Hartington! There were 18 senior teams and 18 junior teams from 9 schools in the competition. The senior team of Ashton Arens, Seth Erdman, Jared Koch, and Calvin Mueller earned 3rd place. The senior team of Joslyn Foxhoven, Tara Harmelink, Lindsey Kuehler, and John Schieffer earned 4th place. The junior team of Dacey Braunsroth, Amy Krepel, Taylor Kube, and Mollie Wilken earned 3rd place. The junior team of Randy Ausdemore, Austin Mann, Nate Merchen and Tyler Steffen earned 5th place. As a school, Crofton placed 2nd overall in the district competition, earning the right to compete at state in the spring.

There is a list of student names who need to turn in forms that were given out at the beginning of the year. Failure to turn in forms by Friday, September 7 will result in a detention. Stop by the office if you have questions or need new forms.
Any student wanting to purchase school insurance needs to let Jennifer know by Friday, September 7.
Sunflower seeds and other food items are not allowed in the school. These items will be turned into the office if found or in a student’s possession.
The FFA Meeting has been rescheduled from Sept. 8 to Sept. 14 at 7:00 Friday.
